They
Were Four And So Too One
They
were four
And so too one
I taught them well
That is all I had done
They were my boys
Not only boys, but men
Awaiting their mission
From their dark dank den
18 years of Ninja training
18 years of Ninja waiting
They were the best in the art
Thus their artist names
I gave them knowledge to what happened
And I cast out vengeful blames
For the man who could do such a thing to another
Was a man who was asking to pay and to suffer
For me
That is who they did it for
My boys, my men
Did it for their mentor
My master had been hunted and killed in spite
My sons avenged that one fateful night
They fought hard and true and crushed the foe
Yet never overlooked the possibility of an unseen blow
Many years had passed
And time withered my bones
My sons took on this burden
I too frail to take it on my own
They let down their guard
And clouded the mind
Still one, but divided
They had all gone blind
The attack came quickly
With sheer force and evil
With Shredder came blood
And the work of the devil
It was over too soon
And my sons were no more
Now I've recovered physically
Yet mental wounds are still sore
18 years of four as one
18 years of one of mine
They
were four
And so too one
I taught them well
That is all I had done
