Character
Profile: Oruku Saki was the star pupil of Hamato Yoshi many
years ago. Although he showed no scorn toward his sensei,
he plotted to overtake his master's clan known as the Foot.
It was upon Yoshi's sabattical to the Charlie Llama that
Saki was left in charge of the Foot Clan. Saki liked the
taste of leadership and power, so when Yoshi returned, he
framed him for plotting against the life of a visiting shidoshi.
Saki then built up the organization to become a band of
theives, and expanded across the ocean to America. Through
means unknown, Saki formed an alliance with a warlord from
Dimension X known as Krang. This is where Saki gained enough
knowledge to further his conquest on to Intergalactic Domination.
Technical
Information: In the Archie Adventure Series there is a carefully
planned storyline that involves time travel. It states that
Armaggon and Verminator X (future villains), traveled to
the past to find an Eye of Sarnath - an alien object acquired
by the Shredder many years ago. They offered him a safe
haven in return for the stone, and took Shredder back to
the future. He then time travelled to Mecca with Verminator
X where he met up with the Turtles again. Here he vowed
to destroy Splinter, until the Turtles called him on an
oath that he owed them his life. So, he released Splinter.
This is all fine and dandy; however, the Shredder made this
oath a few years after his apparent Time Slip, and therefore,
could not have known about the oath he had already made.
Another flaw would be that had the Shredder left his original
time, he would not have been in any of the other adventures
such as the Final Conflict, or the time when Krang took
over his body (which was when the turtles saved his life).
Note:
The views and opinions expressed here are all mine, and
should not be taken as actual fact. These statistics are
based largely on the TMNT Archie Adventure Series. I do
consider all TMNT publications to be equally factual. This
includes the Archie, Mirage, Image, Wolf Productions, and
even the Pizza Hut sponsored singing Ninja Turtles.
